| Platform | Supported Models | Connection Interface | Communication Protocol | Power Source & Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DJI Enterprise Drones | M400, M350 RTK, M300 RTK | DJI PSDK connector | DJI PSDK | Powered from the drone’s main battery (12–24 V) |
| Cube / Pixhawk-Based Drones | InspiredFlight IF1200A, IF800, Wispr Ranger Pro, Harris Aerial H6, Skyfront Perimeter 8, DroneBase X4-1000, Hexadrone Tundra, Avartek Boxer, and other PX4/ArduCopter drones | Telem port of the autopilot | MAVLink | Powered from the drone’s main battery (12–60 V) |
Danger
SkyHub does not support True Terrain following / Grasshopper mode with PX4. SkyHub works only as a data logger for the payload sensor using position data from the PX4 autopilot. Connection with SkyHub during the flight can be established only if the UgCS desktop is used as ground control software.
Info
In general, there are no drone model limitations for ArduPilot/PX4 drones.
The only requirement is an ArduPilot flight controller with firmware 4.* or higher for the ArduPilot, and a PX4 flight controller with firmware version 1.7 or higher for the PX4 drones.
Caution
Payload mountings, SkyHub mountings, and the power connector to the drone must be assembled by the customer.
SPH Engineering only supplies the “universal“ cable, with blank wires, so that the customer can figure out the connection to their specific drone model according to the manufacturer's manual.
